Dear students,
We would like to inform you about an important change that has recently been implemented at our dormitory. We have installed a new central circulation air system to improve the air quality and comfort in your rooms.
This technology includes 26 motors located on the roof of the building that efficiently exhausts air from the entire riser covering all 10 floors of the residence hall. Each cell now has three extraction exhaust elements (mushrooms) that include an automatic control system. This system is designed so that the exhaust elements (mushrooms) automatically open and close at specific intervals when the lights in the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are switched on and off.
It is very important that you do not tamper with these exhaust elements (mushrooms), as any manipulation can lead to a blanket-libration of the extraction and also possible damage to the pull-out mechanism. Proper operation of the extraction system is crucial to ensure optimum air circulation and moisture removal.
