Remove the private objects you placed in the hallways!
Dear students,
During a regular fire inspection, it was found that clothes dryers, doormats, shoe racks, and other personal items were in the hallways.
Common areas such as hallways and staircases serve as protected escape routes. In the event of a fire or smoke in the area, these items can cause tripping and impede safe evacuation. Many of these items are made of flammable materials, increasing the building’s fire load.
The Dormitory Rules state, among other things: “3.2.7. It is forbidden to place any objects anywhere in the common corridors, especially in front of
the unit/room entrance (e.g., clothes dryers, shoe racks, bicycles, etc).”
For failure to comply with this provision, you will be charged a fee for violating the Dormitory Rules according to the Price List of Compensation and Fees, namely:
- 1,000 CZK for the first violation,
- 3,000 CZK for the second violation,
- 5,000 CZK for another gross violation of the Dormitory Rules.
Please remove all these items immediately.
The next inspection will take place no later than February 10, 2026.
